Instructor to remain with group at all times, observing and stopping incidents before they happen. This should reduce the risk for the need for first aid.

Due to mandatory wearing of lifejackets during instruction the chances of needing to give ‘mouth to mouth’ resuscitation to a client are negligible in water that Padlgog currently operate. However if needed new advice on ‘rescue breaths’ and covering nose and mouth during chest compressions to be followed

A well maintained first aid kit to be kept onshore and is to include gloves and face masks

One for client (if able to wear) and one for instructor.

*Final note. While at this time access to the outdoors and leisure activities is a privilege and not a right, when done safely and competently paddleboarding is just as safe as any other outdoor activity and I want to teach people and encourage them to get into this sport Safely.
Most importantly in the instructions will be the safety aspect of paddleboarding, knowing when to and not to go out/self rescue ect. Delivering these sessions will be important in keeping the new and expanding paddleboarding community safe.
With a big wave of suspected mental health issues arising due to a whole manner of issues relating to Covid 19 I think the health /mental health benefits far outweigh the negligible potential for incident related to Paddleboarding instruction
